Full-Time Training - Testimonies

In the winter of 1996, I went to Vancouver, Canada to study as an international student. In my second year of college, I was invited to a gospel meeting and two months later I was baptized in the meeting hall of the church in Burnaby.

After I was saved, I had a very wonderful and enjoyable Christian life. The ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee really helped me to grow in life and the Lord became so real to me. The world became tasteless to me. The first time I heard of Full-Time Training was in 1999. The Lord gave me the desire to go to the Training after graduation from college. Outwardly, it seemed impossible for me to go, but I still told the Lord that I would go if He would open the way.

After graduation, I started to work as a marketing coordinator in an importing company. Though the job was very exciting and I got to travel and meet many upper-class business people, deep within I didn't give up on the idea of going to the Training. After one and half years, the Lord was faithful to open the way for me to go to the Training. Thank you, Lord.

Now I am in my third term in the Full-Time Training. I really want to testify that the Training and the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee changed my life. Before the Training, my desire and capacity for reading the Bible were very small. The Training has increased my hunger for God's Word and enlarged my capacity to receive the Word as solid food rather than just milk (Hebrews 5:13-14). Through the unveiling of the Word, I have also come to know the Lord Jesus much more. The more I know Him, the more I love and appreciate Him. The more I love Him, the more I experience Him. The Training has also helped me to build up a habit of spending personal time with the Lord. Every morning the first thing I do is contact the Lord and spend time with Him.

I thank the Lord for the Training, which has helped me to be a proper and functioning member of the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:16). I also thank the Lord for the ministry of Nee and Lee, which opens up the Word of God.
